Watch The Audi RS Q E-Tron Tested On Snow And Ice

Pro rally driver, Ken Block, shows us his best snow drifting skills behind the wheel of this electric beast.

Audi, like other car manufacturers, is going all in, in their effort to gain market share for Electric Vehicles. Audi’s RS e-tron model has some amazing features that rival the best that Tesla has to offer. Not only is Audi going after the consumer market with their EVs, but now they are wanting to set their sights on the racing world. One model that Audi is really banking on is the RS Q e-tron.

The RS Q e-tron is an off-road competitive racing car that combines an EV and gas powertrain to achieve incredible off-road capabilities. Audi has had recent success with the RS Q e-tron at the Dakar Rally race with four stage wins and 14 podium results, so their formula seems to be working.

In the YouTube video by Audi, famous drifter Ken Block takes the RS Q e-tron to the ice and snow to see what it can do. Now that Ken Block has joined Audi, we see how he can put his skills to the test in Audi’s e-tron lineup.

Hoonigan In the Ice and Snow

Ken Block is no stranger to driving like a hoonigan in the snow and ice, but this video showcases his amazing drifting skills with Audi’s new RS Q e-tron. In fact, Ken is no stranger to driving around in really fast electric vehicles, as we saw in 2020, when he drove a crazy fast 1400 hp Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Regarding the Audi, we saw that the RS Q e-tron can handle the dust, dirt, and sand when it raced in Dakar, but colder climates are something different. However, the video showcases that Ken has no issue driving like you would expect him to. We appreciate seeing Audi building excitement in the enthusiast aspect of their brand by adding Ken Block to their team.

While the naming can get a bit confusing, Audi is able to back up its models with performance and styling that is in line with the brand’s reputation. As we get closer to the 2026 date, it will be interesting to see how Audi’s other models change without an internal combustion engine.
