The new R is taller, lower and wider than before, with better integrated aerodynamic elements that add downforce and reduce drag.

Notable design changes include redesigned front and rear bumpers, honeycomb grille inserts that match the car’s interior trim, revised side sills, an exclusive rear spoiler with basket handle, and a new rear diffuser panel punctuated by the distinctive Type R badge. Three circular exhaust ports. Features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and dual-zone automatic climate control, plus exclusive metal pedals, an aluminum gear shift knob, and a silver center console trim.

Honda also provides the new R model with deep-reinforced front belt drive performance seats wrapped in red suede. The color matches both the interior trim and the carpet. An R-type serial plate adorns the dashboard, displaying the unique production number for each example of the vehicle.
