Toyota Innova Next Generation Hybrid Technology – What It Will Look Like

Toyota Innova Hycross was seen during the testing phase. Now, a new view gives details a look at the upcoming car.

Toyota Innova is one of the most popular cars in the Indian market. The compact MPV was originally introduced in 2004. It features a three-row design. Now, the Japanese automaker is preparing to launch a new Innova model with hybrid technology. It would probably be called the Innova Hycross. Test mules have already been spotted on Indian and Indonesian roads. Now, Andra Febrian Design has shared a new render on Instagram that gives a good look at the upcoming car.

The next generation Toyota Innova is said to be called “Hycross”. It will likely feature some kind of hybrid technology to increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Like all Toyota Hybrids, the Toyota logo will have a blue halo around it. The test mules already revealed a flat tailgate with separate taillight setup, LED taillights, rear wiper with washer, raised stop light and rear defogger. The Concept Mule also featured dark silver five-spoke alloy wheels.

As you can see in the new digital renderings, the Toyota Innova Hycross looks very elegant with a sporty touch. You can see the stylish headlights with LED daytime running lamp and projector setup. The bumper grille carries elements of the current Innova Crysta style. Additional features include bumper strip, window arches, and prominent wheel arches with black plastic livery. The new render gives a good look at the upcoming model, however, since it is based on the artist’s imagination and a spy video, the final product will look a little different.

The next generation of Toyota Innova Crystal

Toyota Innova Crysta is one of the most comfortable and safest cars in the Indian market. The latest version comes at 16.26 lakh rupees for the entry-level GX model (higher variant costs 24.33 lakh rupees). It is equipped with a 2.7-liter gasoline engine (166 hp / 245 Nm) / a 2.4-liter diesel engine (150 hp / 360 Nm) with a 5-speed manual transmission / 6-speed torque converter. Additional features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric driver’s seat, ambient lighting, automatic LED headlights, cruise control, up to seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and vehicle stability control.
