The Telemundo62 sports anchor appears at the 6th Annual Coatesville Vintage Grand Prix

Telemundo62 sports broadcaster Jaime Becerril will appear again at the sixth annual Coatesville Invitational Vintage Grand Prix as a guest speaker on Saturday, September 17 between 10:30 a.m. and noon.

Passionate about all sports in Philadelphia, Becerril is a longtime motorsport enthusiast. Joining his hometown professional broadcaster Bob Reiner who has been running the event since its inception, bringing years of knowledge of vintage cars and motorcycles to life with his colorful commentary.

The main event attracts thousands of visitors and residents, who will have a rare opportunity to experience the thrill of watching five-temperature vintage cars and motorcycles – dating from 1900 to 1977 – individually traversed a challenging 2.2-mile path that winds through the historic streets of Coatsville. It is the only remaining Grand Prix race in North America that still runs on the city streets. For a full list of events, times, course map and more, visit the website.

Saturday general admission is free with excellent visibility throughout the entire course. Opening festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. and events continue through the afternoon. Beginning at 10 a.m., spectators will have access to this year’s new Grand Prix “infield” beer garden at Third Avenue and Lincoln Highway, sponsored by Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group and featuring Deer Creek Malt, Splitting Edge Axrowing, food carts and family games – It’s all just steps away from the start/finish line.

Tickets are now available for the much-anticipated PRIXview concert on Thursday, September 15th from 6pm to 9pm. This lively evening under the stars is a chance to mingle and mingle with car and motorcycle enthusiasts, drivers and event sponsors, surrounded by an exclusive display of a selection of vintage cars. Crosby Wood and his wife, Nancy, host this major social event in their historic Brooklawn home and co-hosted by the West Chester County Chamber of Commerce and members of the CIVGP committee. On September 16th, on the eve of the Grand Prix, the Friday evening ride features vintage cars, trucks and special interest vehicles. This special evening is open to all car enthusiasts, and allows non-competitors to tour the city and preview the track. Bring your own pre-1977 hot rods, classic and restored cars! No entry fee or registration required; However, all vehicles must be licensed. Parking will be available for cruise participants along Lincoln Highway between 1st and 4th Streets where viewers can get an up-close look.

Brandywine Motorsports Club continues to support the event with expertise in overseeing course design, driver registration and competition. Driver registration is still open here.
