The 5 coolest cars we got in the new Forza Horizon 5 update (and the 5 cars we want to see)

All car lovers have a list of cars they want to drive. Whether it is driving specific muscle cars, sports cars, SUVs or supercars, everyone has a dream. Since many people will never have the opportunity to realize these dreams, video games are the next best thing. Racing games are getting more and more realistic, with more and more cars available to choose from.

10 Released: 2022911 GT3

The first road-legal 911 GT3 debuted in 1999 as part of the 996 series and is still popular when the regular 911 just isn’t enough. The GT3 designation is reserved for special Porsche cars designed for road and road use. To reduce weight, it is delivered with different brakes, an improved suspension, reduced sound amortization, the option to delete the rear seat, and a naturally aspirated engine.

9 Released: BMW M8 Coupe Competition

When BMW makes a new M car, it’s bound to be great, just like the M8 Competition. It goes from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds thanks to a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that puts out 618 horsepower. Even more surprising is that it comes from a luxury coupe that places equal emphasis on comfort. While it uses all-wheel drive in standard operation, there’s an option to detach its front axle, allowing it to drive all-wheel drive, so you can have some extra fun on the back roads or track. To help with that, there’s adaptive suspension that lets you choose the setting you want based on the driving you’re on.

Available in colors unique to the M8, they’ll see you coming, and with the M Sound adjustable exhaust modes, they’ll hear you coming too. As for the brakes, iron discs are standard on 20-inch wheels, but there is also an option for carbon ceramics. The cabin is just another example of the kind of attention BMW pays to its cars. There you’ll find a 12.3-inch screen, a 16-speaker Harman-Kardon stereo, Merino leather-trimmed seats, and a number of other features you’d want in a BMW.

8 Release date: 1982 Volkswagen Pickup LX / Rabbit

The Germans are famous for their high-quality sports cars, but they also built exotic cars, such as the BMW Isetta, VW Thing, 1951 Hoffmann and Z1. Another example is the 1982 LX Pickup, also known as the Rabbit Pickup. It’s not the most utilitarian truck by today’s standards, but it sure is one of its kind. It’s powered by a 1.7L flat-4 engine with 78 HP and a 0-60…maybe? It’s only rated for a top speed of 50-60mph, so it’s hardly a high-performance car. What you do is style and a lot of character. Many cars today will never use all their power, approach their top speed, or visit a racetrack, so spending that much money can be more than a necessity.

Since that’s the case, a car like this that gets an average of 40 mpg probably isn’t a bad idea when you consider gas prices still going up. Are you going to pull a boat or drive it around a construction site? Probably not, but if you use it around a farm, it has a 6-foot bed and the ability to tow up to 1,100 pounds. It’s also suitable for driving around town, where you rarely exceed 40 mph anyway. You may need some style and competence.

7 Release date: 2018 RS4 Avant

Station wagons have gotten a bad reputation lately. Many people think of them as shabby, wood-panelled baby taxis, and thanks to SUVs, youngsters may not even know they exist. The Germans have been trying to keep them quiet again, and they are doing a good job. BMW and Mercedes both provide excellent examples, but Audi sure knows what it’s doing. They currently produce two models of wagons, the RS4 Avant and RS6 Avant. They both have an aggressive look, and their strength is undeniable.

But the real ideal is the RS4. Audi has outfitted it with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo engine that can be paired with the Quattro AWD system to get that power on the road and up to 155 mph. However, it is not only about its strength. He also handles like a sports car and is a great everyday driver. The corresponding SUV version, the QS5, produces less horsepower and weighs more and not as fast. The SUV feels more like a football parent’s car these days, so buck the trend and go with the camper.

6 Released: 2021 AMG GT

The AMG GT is the second car to be manufactured exclusively by the AMG division, with the impressive SLS AMG being the first. For $119,650, you can get a 2021 model with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 523 horsepower and tops out at 193 mph. It has a weight distribution of approximately 50/50 and is made of aluminum, carbon fiber and magnesium to keep the weight down. It’s made in two-door and four-door options, and it’s stunning either way.

Like the last model, AMG has invested a lot of time and resources on the engine and interior. It looks very futuristic and offers enough options to please anyone. Lighting, carbon fiber and metallic trim add to its high-tech look and has a feel of quality that matches leather. It’s a little tight on the inside, but a tall one can still fit comfortably, which is a good thing because you’ll need some deep pockets.

5 Wish: 2022 Audi RS e-tron GT

As part of Audi’s transition to electric vehicles, the RS e-tron GT is a few steps away from the base model and more powerful option. It can boost the 590 hp to 637 hp in 2.5 seconds, thanks to the front and rear motors. The e-tron can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds with a limited top speed of 155 mph.

Audi shows its technological power with Quattro AWD, suspension, lights, controls and the e-tron sporty sound. Other unique features are the paddles on the steering wheel that allow you to operate regenerative braking, just like the Taycan’s cousin, Power Steering Plus which increases steering assist at lower speeds. While it aims to be as high-tech as possible, it has analog controls on the dashboards that make operating the stereo and air conditioning controls easier. Although it’s the heaviest vehicle on the list, you wouldn’t know by the numbers it produces and its 238-mile range.

4 Wishing: 2022 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT

Everyone knows the Porsche Cayenne isn’t an ordinary SUV, but the Turbo GT ensures you won’t forget it. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 generates 631 horsepower with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.1 seconds, which is very impressive for an SUV, as is its top speed of 186 mph.

Porsche emphasized that although the Cayenne is larger, it is still designed like one of its sports cars. Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB) brakes are made of steel, aluminum and carbon fiber as standard. It rides on 22-inch wheels but feels solid through corners thanks to the air suspension and Active Suspension Management. The interior setup will also make you forget you’re in an SUV. 3 Interested in: 2021 S 63 AMG Coupe

First released in 2014, the S Class Coupe was identical to the S Class sedan other than removing the rear doors. The flagship S models are known for their power and agility, and the sleeker, more streamlined Coupe version added a sense of sportiness. Unfortunately, production of the coupe has been discontinued, the last of which was introduced in 2021. Mercedes has been reducing the number of variations it offers, and the coupe has been another victim.

For the party go, Mercedes offered the coupe with the AMG 63 engine, an option not available on the sedan. A 4.0-liter, manual-turbocharged engine gave it 603 horsepower and a 0-60 MP time of 3.5 seconds, putting the driver at 184 mph. Stabilized with the well-established 4MATIC + all-wheel drive from Mercedes, it handled well in all situations. While possessing supercar numbers, the S 63 Coupe can blend in with other luxury cars on the road to even outpace them on the highway. 2 Wishing: 2013 CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brakes

The 2013 CLS revolutionized Mercedes’ style, but the hit brakes were very different. Its unique chassis was powered by a 5.5-liter Biturbo V8 that produced 732 horsepower. This accelerated it from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and was clocked at 204 mph although it is believed to be able to move faster.

The Edition 1 package added a unique interior that was fitted by Mercedes’ own interior department Designo. The shooting brake was an excellent choice for those looking for a practical luxury vehicle without sacrificing performance or payload space,

1 Desire for: 2010 BMW M5 Touring / Wagon

When you think of the M5, the super-powerful sedan is the one that first comes to mind, but in 2010 BMW also made a wagon version. It’s powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V10 that’s been named the 2005 Powertrain. It produces 507 horsepower, a 0-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds, and a limited top speed of 155 mph. The competition was supposed to be for the Audi RS 4 Avant and the Mercedes E Class Estate, which were already competing for the best wagon.

It acted like a normal buggy until the M button was triggered, then became a whole new animal. It also has excellent suspension to match that power. The advantage of the tour was that you could move at a speed close to an M5 sedan but with enough cargo space to carry a bike. Production of the 5 Series wagon was discontinued after the 2010 model due to the increased popularity of SUVs, but dealers and customers have been asking for another one since then.
