The carmakers have added the SUV to this limited lineup, which is essentially an appearance upgrade that includes some really attractive features.
As you might expect, Toyota wants to keep things fresh with its cars to entice us to buy them. And to achieve that, Toyota has now added a Nightshade Edition to the 2023 Venza range, making it the latest car in the Toyota lineup to get the Nightshade treatment along with other cars such as the Prius and the Avalon.
The Key Details On The Nightshade Venza
The Nightshade package is essentially an appearance upgrade, Toyota adding, what it says is, “an extra infusion of coolness” to the Venza with its new package. The Nightshade Edition of the Venza is in fact based upon the XLE trim level of the car, and there are three exterior colors available for the Venza Nightshade. These colors are Celestial Black, Wind Chill Pearl which replaces Blizzard Pearl for all 2023 models, and Ruby Flare Red. The last one of those, is perhaps the most dramatic of color options available. And each one brings in black trim for the car’s interior.
A True Designer Touch On The SUV
Toyota says that the new Nightshade Edition adds a true designer touch to the Venza. This is also highlighted with the acrylic front grille trim, the black-painted outer mirror caps, door handles, rocker panels and the available black roof rails. When it comes to the lower bumpers, Toyota says that these are further complemented in front and rear with smoked chrome moldings and there is a black shark fin antenna on the car as well. Toyota says that this is literally the crowning touch to the Nightshade Edition of the Venza.
Big Wheels And Blacked Out Badges
A key feature of Nightshade Edition cars is the badging. Toyota have blacked out the badging for some extra darkness, and the same is true with the 2023 Venza Nightshade Edition. These badges are now blacked out on the rear of the Venza.
The car also rolls on 19-inch gloss-black multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. Other features on the Nightshade Venza include LED fog lamps, which are now standard on the XLE and Nightshade. Toyota says that these lights shine extra light from the darkness. And Toyota says that, specifically for the Nightshade Edition, the lights are paired with the available Star Gaze panoramic roof.
The 2023 Venza Nightshade Edition still has all-wheel drive, and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with three electric motors that combined produce 219 hp.
