Prime Day 2022 competitor deals: Top sales outside of Amazon

To get the best Amazon Prime Day deals, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member. The good news is that even if you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, you can still get deep discounts from the competition – no paid membership required.

While the official dates for Prime Day are July 12 and 13, we’re already seeing early deals for Amazon Prime members. And other companies have already begun to advertise competitive sales. In the past, we’ve seen simultaneous events from Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and a host of other retailers, effectively turning Prime Day into Black Friday in midsummer.

We’ve found some interesting deals – below – at competing retailers.

Samsung HW-A40M 2.1 Channel Speaker With Wireless Subwoofer

  • Current price: $99
  • Original price: $149

This bundle comes with the Samsung HW-A40M Bluetooth Speaker, Wireless Subwoofer and Remote Control. At less than $100, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more capable sound system for your home theater at a better price. The HW-A40M supports both Dolby Audio and DTS, and is compatible with wireless surround sound if you want to upgrade your system with additional speakers.

PNY Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060

  • Current price: $399
  • Original price: $649

If you plan to upgrade your gaming setup, you can save $250 on a PNY Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. This is an even better deal than what we saw during the recent Memorial Day sales. This graphics card comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, 3586 CUDA processing cores, and a 1320MHz base clock with 1777MHz to boost clock speeds.

TCL 4-series Roku TV 50 Inch

  • Current price: $299
  • Original price: $449

TCL makes some of the best budget TVs out there. If you’re looking for a 4K Ultra HD that doesn’t break the bank, you can’t go wrong with this 50-inch model. With the Roku platform, you will have easy access to all your favorite streaming services. It is equipped with three HDMI ports to easily fit your game console, cable box or Blu-ray player.

These are the best stores that have announced, or are expecting to announce, an upcoming sale to compete with Prime Day. As we get closer to Prime Day, we’ll be adding the competitors’ best deals against Prime Day, so be sure to check back regularly.

Walmart offers for the day

Walmart hasn’t announced a competitor’s Amazon Prime Day sale dates, just yet. Last year, he ran a Deals for Days promo with discounts on all kinds of items: TVs, laptops, Apple products, kitchen appliances, and more.

We’ll be adding the best deals from Walmart as announced.

Target Deal Days

Target is rerunning Deal Day July 11-13. There are no details for specific deals, but Target has released a preview of the top deals, including:

  • Save up to $70 on Apple products
  • Up to 50% off select technologies and headphones
  • Up to 40% off Kitchen Appliances
  • Up to 30% off home appliances

Last year, Best Buy’s week-long Bigger Deal Savings event featured deals on laptops, kitchen appliances, robotic vacuums, monitors, TVs, and more. Best Buy hasn’t announced any deals yet, but we’ll add the best deals here as they become available.

Newegg FantasTech Sale

For the past seven years, Newegg has held its annual FantasTech sale that features discounts on laptops, hard drives, and other computer parts and accessories. Last year, the sale took place during Prime Day and began with a seven-day pre-sale. Newegg attracted early adopters with price protection during the pre-sale portion of the event.

Customers were eligible for an automatic refund if pre-sale purchases featuring the FantasTech Price Protection badge at a lower price on expired during the official sale.

We’ll update you with details of this year’s sale as soon as it’s announced.

Amazon Prime Day begins at 3AM EST on July 12 and runs through July 13. Prime Prime deals begin June 21, including up to 50% off Fire TV and 55% off select Amazon devices. Most alternative Prime Day sales will occur around the same time.

At the moment, very few sales have been announced outside of the target deal days, which will run from July 11 to July 13. We will add more sales as soon as they are announced. Be sure to check back with us in the coming days and weeks.

Prime Day deals are only available to Amazon Prime members, costing $14.99 per month or $139 for an annual membership. You usually don’t have to sign up for an Amazon Prime alternative to qualify for deals from other retailers.

Earlier this summer, Walmart treated Walmart+ members with a special weekend of deals. But in the past, Walmart’s anti-Prime Day sales were open to anyone.
