Presagis extends the following workflow for 3D tiles in Esri ArcGIS

MONTREAL, June 23, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Presages, the global leader in advanced 3D modeling and simulation, is launching a plug-in for 3D environments for ArcGIS Pro. 3D environments allow ArcGIS users to quickly convert 3D Tiles Next data formats, such as One World Terrain, into ArcGIS Pro projects to create 3D scenes from 2D vector data and 3D models.

The 3D Environments add-on, available on Esri’s ArcGIS Marketplace at the end of June, enhances Presagis build templates and texture libraries that analysts can use to create optimized 3D visualizations of GIS environments, helping to increase collaboration across the organization. Presagis 3D Environments add-in contains tools to create, convert, and extract a variety of 3D formats to provide seamless interoperability between ArcGIS Pro and modeling and simulation applications.

“The add-on for 3D environments is a result of the close relationship we have established with Esri. “We are excited to bring our modeling and simulation expertise to the Esri Marketplace and the ArcGIS community,” said Jean-Michel Brier, President of Presagis. “The convergence between GIS data and simulation is critical to creating digital twins.” Accurate and realistic — and Presagis can help lead the way.”

“The Presagis 3D Environment for ArcGIS Pro add-on extends the interoperability of 3D workflows between ArcGIS and ModSim 3D data formats such as CDB,” said Jamon Johnson, product lead for the Esri 3D core team. Analysts can now fully integrate CDB into ArcGIS Pro projects as well as take advantage of OpenFlight models in 3D visualization applications.

The ability to create and implement detailed, photorealistic 3D content in ArcGIS Pro is now available. To learn more and sign up for a free 30-day trial, please visit:
