Many cleaning tips that involve using shaving cream have been circulating online over the past few months, with people using it to clean carpets, car seats, and more.
One woman wanted to test it on her shoes, to see if the miraculous hack could erase dirt and grime accumulated on the fabric.

The mom shared a photo of her shoes before and after applying shaving gel, and took to her Facebook group of cleaning tips and tricks to praise the results.
She wrote: “Another clean shaving foam. Sorry. I left the shaving foam on for half an hour, wiped it off with a damp cloth and dipped in the washer after a quick 30-degree wash. It looks brand new, honestly it was filthy.”
The post garnered more than 4,500 likes, as well as nearly 2,000 comments from Facebook users sharing their views on the unusual hack.
