However, it is not surprising that these cars are so popular in the world of celebrities. One of the Maserati cars that makes a strong statement is the GranTurismo MC Stradal.

Debuting at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale is among the brand’s most powerful cars. It is also the longest-running model behind the GranTurismo base. It is the first convertible four-seater, the GranCabrio. The MC Stradale is known for its unique 2+2 body configuration, which comes from the Maserati M139 platform. This is the same platform that supports a lot of Fiat cars. The platform features a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. This provides the best view of the road ahead. The MC Stradale also features fender vents. These extract hot air from the engine port and hood vents that help cool the engine. The MC model also has a front spoiler, side skirts and a rear diffuser. These features help increase downforce at 124 mph by 25% in the front and 50% in the rear, adding stars to its performance.

One factor worth noting is that the MC Stradale belongs on Maserati’s M139 platform. As mentioned, this platform supports the Fiat Group, Alfa Romeo, and a large number of Maserati production cars. Dodge intends to use the Maserati platform for the aggressive SRT Viper. But the proportions did not match. Dodge still borrows a lot of visual elements from Maserati and Ferrari and used a carbon fiber construction. At a glance, the Dodge Viper is similar to the MC Stradale. This is especially true for coupe body styles, front track widths, and rear-wheel drive configurations. In dimension, the MC Stradale is taller than the Dodge Viper.

The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale has some serious ponies

One of the factors that made the GranTurismo Group so stand out is its engines. The 2013 Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale comes with a 4.7L V8 engine. This engine produces up to 454 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 384 pound-feet of torque at 4750 rpm. Given that GranTurismo’s first 4.7-liter V8 produces just 434 horsepower, the 2013 MC Stradale has a major bump in power. That power still isn’t on par with the Viper, which is powered by an 8.4-liter V-10, which produces 640 horsepower at 6150 rpm.

The 4.7-liter V8 from GranTurismo is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, shared with the Ferrari F430. It transmits power to the rear wheels, propelling the MC Stradale from rest to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. Its propulsion system also consists of Skyhook suspension. This system includes sensors for driving conditions. It also allows the driver to choose between Sport or Comfort mode.

The interior design combines comfort, practicality and luxury

One thing you’ll notice about its interior design is that it places a heavy emphasis on technology. The MC Stradale’s interior is driver-focused, with controls well placed for easy access. The steering wheel features many buttons and dials. One of them is fiber paddle adapters. These work with an automatic transmission in Sport mode. Other tech features include satellite radio, voice-activated navigation, and an 11-speaker Bose audio system.
