GTA Online’s weekly update is now available, with new muscle car, new showroom cars, new contract rewards, and more.
This week’s update introduces the Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 muscle car, which can be purchased at Southern San Andreas Super Autos. Players are advised to “watch the sky,” as there are some rumors circulating about a getaway plane issuing a distress call, and if it goes down there will be a chance to search the wreckage for any “illicit trophies.” Keep an eye out for any glowing smoke in the sky as well, as a “mysterious donor” Hiding smugglers’ hideouts across southern San Andreas.
In the Premium Deluxe Motorsport showroom, there are several cars to check out, including the classic red Vapid Speedo, the Weeny dynasty in classic brown paint job, cab paint job, the Vulcar Fagaloa in silver metallic cast iron and wrapped in the classic striped livery, Karen Sultan Classic in classic olive green and renegade tribes trim, and Declasse Impaler in metallic yellow, fitted with low trim.
The Luxury Autos Showroom will also have the new Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 for sale in a classic orange paint job, or there’s the 50% off Ocelot Pariah available this week, which comes in pearly dark steel and wrapped in ocelot livery.
Exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, players will be able to visit Hao’s Special Works to check out this week’s premium test ride, which allows them to try out a supercharged version of the Übermacht Sentinel XS. Also exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X | S is this week’s HSW beta, which will challenge you to “cut the road” between Ron Alternates Wind Farm and the industrial complex of Elysian Island.
This week, players who complete any MC Clubhouse contracts will receive an additional 50% GTA$ and RP, plus a $200,000 GTA bonus. Logging in before August 24 will result in a free pair of Wild Striped Pool Sliders for players. Players who successfully complete any Gunrunning, Nightclub Warehouse, MC or Special Cargo Sell Mission will still be rewarded with a pair of White Beat Off Earphones as well.
The land and air races will pay double the usual GTA$ and RP for those who “daring to be tempted by fate”.
Players who finish in the top five in a street racing series for two days in a row can get Vapid Retinue.
Those who head to the test track inside the LS Car Meet can experience the Coil Cyclone, Emperor ETR1 and Pfister Comet S2, where players can race against each other in a scramble, or against the clock in a time trial, all for free.
Players can also try their luck in the lobby of The Diamond Casino & Resort to give the Lucky Wheel a spin, which can lead to GTA$, or with a lot of luck, the Dewbauchee Rapid GT Classic.
GTA+ members can expect a Lampadati Corsita sports car, upgrades to their Executive Office, free clothing and accessories, and a 50% bonus GTA$ and RP on Operation Paper Trail missions, among other rewards for members.
