Cascade Sotheby’s merges with Hasson Co.

Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty, a subsidiary of Sotheby’s International Realty, has announced its merger with a local company, The Hasson Co. and will now operate as Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty, the brand announced Wednesday.

The merger will make the combined company the largest real estate company in Oregon by sales, according to a press release from Sotheby’s. In 2021, Hasson Co. generated more than $2.8 billion in sales, and Cascade Sotheby’s generated more than $3 billion in sales, making the two companies combined $6 billion in sales last year.

Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty will have a total of 22 offices and 575 independent sales staff. Deb Tibbs, of Cascade Sotheby’s, will serve as co-CEO of the new company, along with Steve Studley, of Hasson Co.

With the merger, the two family-run companies of Oregon and Southwest Washington will be able to expand their service areas. Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty will now be able to assist clients in West Linn and Wilsonville, Oregon, and provide enhancement to existing locations in Portland; Ashland. twists; Cannon Beach and Vancouver, Washington.

Sotheby’s International Realty has over 25,000 affiliated independent sales employees across more than 1,000 offices in 78 countries and territories. The brand was most represented in RealTrends’ The Thousand’s single-agent rankings by sales volume category, the results of which were released on June 10.
