Saturday 27 August: Allen County Fair Auto Show 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Registration 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Allen County Fairgrounds, 2750 Harding Highway, Lima. Entry fee of $25 per car (two people enter the exhibition).
Saturday 10 September: Pioneer Days Auto Show, 9am to 4pm, Registration 10am to noon, downtown Calida. Pre-registration $8 by September 1 by check or money order to Rigsby Performance, 11108 Tuscaora Path, Lakeview, OH 43331. Judging at 12:30 p.m. Awards 4 p.m. Nearly 300 vehicles in 30 classes with all judging conducted by participants. Prizes go to the top three in each category. Categories include Street Bars, Customs, Antiques, Stocks, Trucks, Motorcycles, and Specialty Vehicles plus Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Best Ford, Best GM, Best Chrysler and Best Show. Sunday 11 September: Car Show Trip at the Art Gallery, noon to 2pm, ELCA Zion Lutheran Church, 1300 Edgewood Drive, Lima. A display featuring an art gallery and a cruise. Donations will be accepted for Veterans Food Pantry and Art/Space Lima.
Friday, September 16 to Saturday, September 17: The 43rd Annual Classic Car Show, Allen County Fairgrounds, 2750 Harding Highway, Lima. Pre-register for $30 by September 15, or $35 on show day. $5 entry for adults, free for kids 12 and under. Free t-shirt for the first 500 registered cars. Saturday 1 October: 4th Annual Lima Veterans Auto Show, noon to 4 p.m., Reineke Ford Lincoln Lima, 1360 Greely Chapel Road, Lima. The show is organized by Reineke Family Dealerships and UAW Local 1219. Sign up $10, with first 50 pre-register to get a free T-shirt. Open to all makes and models, motorcycles are welcome. The show will include dash boards, sweepstakes, door prizes, a 50/50 draw, and multiple T-shirts and trophies. All proceeds go to the Northwest Ohio Veterans Food Pantry.
Saturday 8 October: Cairo 696 Halloween Customs Trick Treat or Treat Car Show, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm, registration from 2 to 4:30 pm, Main Street, Cairo. Contest “Don’t miss it at the end of the show. No fees, but donations accepted. Donations are for local charities. Call Rick Davis, 419-236-4297.”
