Broadcast tickets for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022

An exhibition match was held at the event attended by women’s and men’s soccer stars of India.

General ticket sales begin today on a first-come-first-served basis for the highly anticipated U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022™. With three months left, fans can now purchase their tickets to any of the 32 matches of the Women’s Football Festival.

Ticket sales were officially launched today at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium during a special match in New Delhi. The official Ticket & Legends launch kicked off with an exhibition match featuring two star-studded teams, including FIFA Legend and two-time Olympic gold medalist, former US women’s national team star Lindsay Tarpley.

Indian football stars both women and men including Ashalata Devi, Sunil Chhetri, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Aditi Chauhan were joined by other legendary stars including I.M. Vijayan, Oinam Bembem Devi and Bhaichung Bhutia in the star-studded match to celebrate the opening of ticket sales for the tournament.

Kick Off The Dream™ Carnivals, a heritage initiative of the competition, aims to encourage children to break gender stereotypes by normalizing inclusive participation through football-themed games and activities. During the carnival, 200 children attended and took part in various football related activities.

In addition, the winner’s trophy of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 was shown, and the participating kids got the chance to take poses with the silver trophies.

Speaking after the event, FIFA legend Lindsay Tarpley said:

“Playing in the FIFA Youth Championships has been a very important and memorable event in my career, as well as for many other stars from the USA and around the world. The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 will be a very exciting opportunity for fans all over India and around the world not only To celebrate and share in the exciting growth and momentum of women’s football right now, but also to watch and support some of the women’s game’s brightest rising stars.”

India captain Sunil Chhetri added:

“Participating in the FIFA competition is a matter of great pride. Hosting it is even more famous. So I encourage all football fans to visit the stadiums and support the brightest young female footballers from all over the world. These events rarely come and it is an opportunity for us as a nation to make our voices heard from the stands, Which will be a representation of the popularity of football in India for the viewing world.”

Tickets are available from INR 80 ($1) for Class 2 and INR 160 ($2) for Class 1 for any match, while site packages will be available from INR 210 ($2) for Class 2, and INR 420 (US$2). $5) in Class 1 in Bhubaneswar. Fans are encouraged to grab their tickets as soon as possible, with best prices available before September 8th.

Access tickets are also available at all three stadiums in two categories:

  • Wheelchair user: for the masses who depend on a wheelchair
  • Easy Access Standard: For audiences who do not depend on a wheelchair but require seating with minimal access

Visa, the Official Payment Services Partner of FIFA, is the preferred payment method for purchasing fan tickets for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022.
