In June 2021, Austin Kroll announced that he had bought himself a very special “birthday gift”: a beautiful home in Charleston. Such as Southern charm The cast member told BravoTV.com last month, he knew “immediately” that home was the perfect choice for him.
“I’m such an impulse shopper,” said Austin. “I don’t like to go shopping and try a bunch of things. It was the same with my house.” He added that the house, built in 2016, was “basically like a turnkey property”. “It had all the hardware there.”
Since the house is in an area that Austin described as a “developing area of Charleston,” he noted, “I got it for a hefty price, and I love it…if you put this house in a different area of Charleston I mean it would be easy to double or triple the price.” double it.”
The house has three bathrooms, four bedrooms (one of which is used as an Austin office), a “very open” first floor, and other details that Austin is particularly excited about: “I’m a relatively tall man, [so] I really love the 10-foot ceilings.”
For over a year, Austin has been hard at work decorating the condo. “I’ve made a lot of progress with like, you know, a light fixture here, a chandelier here,” he said. “[But] I ordered a sofa in October, we’re talking in July, and it’s not here yet. This is infuriating. Looks like my living room isn’t complete yet. “Although, according to recent Instagram stories, the couch has since been up, Austin now has other areas to focus on.” My third bedroom upstairs I haven’t finished yet,” he said… “So there are just things I’m excited to go into. But I painted it, and did some fun stuff here and there. It’s moving slowly, but I haven’t had the opportunity to devote a full amount of time to complete my house.”
With his current furniture and décor options, Austin admitted that the house was “very celibate. Let’s just say if I had a wife in the house, or someone in the house used to live with me, [they] You’ll probably be like, “We’re going to change some of these things here.” The feel of the home, he said, strikes a balance between “trying to be sophisticated” and “still having fun.” Part of that fun includes a “three-and-a-half-foot refrigerator full of trop hop” in the entryway.
“So when you come here, it’s like, ‘Do you have something to drink? “How much can you drink trop hop until you pass out?” he joked. “So it’s always there. Just open it up and get Trop Hop, if you let it. I think that’s my home atmosphere.”
And he added with a laugh, “Someone might have brought it up at some point. Who would say?”
