Garage Italia Customs is known for impeccable car customization, and for its latest project, The Body Shop focused its skills on recreating the classic ’80s Fiat Panda owned by the late Italian industrialist and Fiat President Gianni Agnelli, who was known in life as avocado (Lawyer).
Agnelli, who passed away in 2003 at the age of 81, was the owner of the Italian soccer team Juventus, while under his leadership Fiat owns brands such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Maserati. Agnelli was known for his quirky aesthetic, and the reworked panda above was his go-to on winter trips to Switzerland.
Retaining its distinctive boxy look on the outside, the car has been fundamentally restored on the inside, using a selection of vintage fabrics from one of Agnelli’s favorite textile producers, Vitale Barberis Canonico. The exterior of the car bears a space gray look with black and blue stripes representing the colors of the Agnelli family, and the same palette has been applied to the interior.
